Battery Problem put off Apple Tablet PC Release to June
Tuesday analyst Shaw Wu from Kaufman Bros. said that although Apple will hold a special release conference about the Tablet PC. However because of battery life and navigation time problems, this product will be released until June.
Shaw Wu said that the Apple Tablet PC can be referred as super iPod Touch, which is similar as the combination of iPhone and Mac and it is much more similar to the former because of the software and components is possible based on ARM.
Shaw Wu also said that the Tablet PC price will be $999 U.S. dollars, because the cost of the CPU, appearance design, sensor, photographic equipment is higher. Especially the large-size touch screen costs more than 100 U.S. dollars.
Shaw Wu believes that Apple’s Tablet PC network connections are most likely to use WiFi mode, rather than 3G networks. Because there are many WiFi hotspots in United States, the internet connecting service will be much cheaper and faster.
