Microsoft released Windows 7 Stability Patch
In recent days, Microsoft has released a series of upgrade patches, most of which are for Windows 7. They are not security patches. These patches look more like Microsoft’s stability upgrade for the system. In the patch description (KB977074) from Microsoft said: "This is a reliability update." Microsoft plans to release stability and reliability patches for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 mainly to solve some problems which are reported by users:
1. The application notification icon moved or missing when the program execute update.
2. Keyboard function keys or shortcut keys do not work
3. Some problem related to system sleep function
If you have the problem, I recommend you install the corresponding patches, and it require ID certification.
