Samsung will first show Bada system S8500 at the MWC exhibit.
Vice president of Samsung Company, Don Joo Lee has said that Samsung will give up Symbian system to use of self-developed SamsungBada system in 2010 in order to compete with Windows Mobile, BlackBerry OS, Palm webOS, iPhone OS and Google Android.
Samsung S8500 is called Wave, and it equipped with 1GHz processor, built-in 5 MP webcam and supports auto focus and video capture, may as well as the ability to capture 720p HD video. At the same time this phone is equipped with a 3.3-inch touch screen which is made of AMOLED glass. Although this phone is installed with Bada phone system, it also adds the latest TouchWiz 3.0.
Samsung S8500 has 2GB storage capacity, also supporting microSD card to expand storage. Although this phone is only 10.9 mm thick and use aluminum body, it can support Wi-Fi (802.11 b / g / n) and the3G network of the WCDMA standard and is equipped with 3.5 mm headphone interface.
