According to the latest report, Windows Mobile 7 requirements of the hardware configuration is not so hard, including the 600MHz CPU, 512MB of memory, 128MB RAM memory, recommended 3.6-inch 800 × 480 pixel resolution screen, gravity sensor, electronic compass.

Compared to the hardware configuration put out by HTC, this is a little lower.

But from some other news, this configuration is not necessary, even for some lower mobiles, Windows Mobile 7 can also work well. The following picture shows that the i-mate JASJAR mobile phone which released in 2005, including 520MHz PXA270 CPU, 64MB RAM, 128MB ROM, but it also work well with MW7.

What kind of requirements do need for the Microsoft’s new mobile phone operating system can only be know at the official release moment. If the requested configuration is too high, it is not good news to upgrading the existing mobile phone system. And you have to purchase a new phone for enjoying this MW7. I hope it can support the lower mobile phone, so I save some cash for something else. What do you think?
