WM7 will launch free navigation old version may get free update
The rumors about WindowsMobile7 system are more and more into 2010. Today the great news is WM7 will launch free navigation software. And the former version WM 6.x will get free update.
As we all know, Google Android platform can provide free real-time update the map function through the Google Maps, while Nokia has recently launched a free OVI navigation function, which makes WM7 navigation functions in an unprecedented dilemma.
Although the WM platform has much different navigation software, the WM system is in bad situation in the market competition because of the complex manufacturers, different type of maps and there are not official map software.
According to the reports, WindowsMobile7 contains the following functions:
1. Can not install applications from memory card or data lines, all the programs need to download and install through the Marketplace;
2. Marketpalce will have a new API, providing the free trial period;
3. WM7 will be completely included Zune services;
4. Not multi-task, but support the push notification, the program will be suspended at the exit;
5. Fully-integrated Xbox game;
6. Don’t support the OEM interface, such as the current TouchFLO interface will not be available;
Furthermore, the news about WindowsMobile 6.x (with 6.5.3 version) will get free update is even more surprise. So it will greatly reduce the cost of WM models.
