HP introduced new business laptops with Intel Core i5/i7 processors
HP has released new EliteBook 2540p/2740p portable laptops, and these products are equipped with the latest Intel Corei5/i7 processors. Both of these products are with 12-inch screen design, respectively 3.4/3.8 pounds weight.
EliteBook 2540p
EliteBook 2540p can have the optional standard Core i5/i7 processor, or a low-power version of the Core i7 processors, graphics cards are using the Intel integrated graphics chip.
Compared with 2530p products, 2540p also have optional built-in optical drive. If the users didn’t choose the built-in optical drive, you will have the 2.5-inch 7200RPM SATAII hard drive, maximum capacity can up to 500GB; If not, it will be equipped with the 1.8-inch 5400RPM SATAII hard drive, maximum capacity is 320GB.
In addition, 2540p can also choose 2.5/1.8 inch SSD drives, maximum capacity is 160GB.
In addition, HP also put out EliteBook 2740p version, this product is position range notebook between tablet PC, to replace the 2730p version products. The notebook specifications is similar with the previous description of the 2540p.
Price and on sale date, the HP EliteBook2540p price is about 1099 U.S. dollars, is expected to be in April in the United States; EliteBook2740p the price is about 1599 U.S. dollars, the same will be on sale in April.
