Google is making its own Android tablet

There are always rumours that Google in creating their own Tablet PC which is based on Chrome OS system. However recently from the news of Los Angeles someone say that Google CEO Eric Schmidt said they are working on the Google tablet PC based on the Android system. And the directly involved Google employee in this matter said that they were prohibited in public talking about this device. And as I see the android-powered looks flat reader, while the Chrome OS is more like a Tablet PC.
With the Nexus One sales experience, it appears Google has known how to push out their own products, and if this news is true, so the conflict between Apple and Google will be more harder, but this naturally can not be avoided.
